    Featured Teacher

    Mrs. Karla Bean
    This is Karla's 35th year of teaching. She has taught in public school (Salem, Oregon), Christian schools (Santiam Christian in Oregon, Grace Academy, Evergreen Christian, Academy Northwest in Washington), and in homeschool education with workshops and science clubs. She is currently working half-time for TRCS and half-time for the Lewis County Learning Center, a Christian school program blending classroom and homeschool education. She has taught all high school sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Earth Science). She holds a BS in General Science from Oregon State University and an MS in Science Education from Western Oregon University. "I like studying the wonders of God's creation and the wonder of God daily," she says. "Spending our days growing in our relationship to God together is amazing."
